He is well-versed in handling audits from the Department of Labor, IRS, and Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation and advises on the integration of retirement programs during mergers and acquisitions. He also supports fiduciary committees with training, guidance on current topics, and counseling during regular meetings.
In addition to his work with qualified plans, Jeff’s practice covers design, 409A compliance, and corrections for supplemental executive retirement programs and non-qualified deferred compensation plans. Jeff’s prior experience as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 company, where he managed retirement programs and executive compensation, provides him with valuable insights into the legal and operational complexities of these programs.
