Emily Crowell focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, finance transactions, strategic investments, emerging companies and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Emily was a summer associate at MMM and held a legal intern position with BODENHEIMER in Cologne, Germany. Emily graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she coached the Moot Court Vis International Arbitration Team, and had a note titled “A Tale of Two Preemptions: The New York Convention Preempts the McCarran-Ferguson Act on Its Own Muster” published while on the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. She was also a Research Assistant for Dean Peter B. Rutledge in International Arbitration, and Professor Nathan Chapman in Constitutional Law and Religious Liberties.
