Daniel “Danny” Begasse focuses his practice on patent and trademark matters associated with intellectual property law. Danny prepares and files patent and trademark applications, responds to USPTO office actions, drafts IP agreements, and otherwise assists clients with various aspects of their intellectual property portfolios. Danny specializes in computer systems, desktop virtualization, UAV/Drone systems, mobile and wireless networks, blockchain systems, IoT, medical devices, mechanical devices, healthcare IT and other technologies.
Prior to joining Morris, Manning & Martin, Danny was a Research Engineer Co-op at the Cyber Technology and Information Security Lab of the Georgia Tech Research Institute, where he researched hacking techniques on microcontrollers. While at Georgia Tech, he also gained laboratory experience with embedded systems design and programming, integrated circuit fabrication, computer architecture, semiconductor physics, and mobile and wireless networks.
