Colby Nelson represents Owner and Developers in both private and public development projects across the country. Colby focuses his practice on the drafting, review and negotiation of construction, design and consulting agreements, as well as advising clients throughout the lifecycle of a project.
Colby has extensive experience dealing with projects in many sectors, including data-warehousing facilities, industrial, hospitality, multi-use, commercial, residential (including apartments, condominiums, townhomes, and single-family homes), healthcare and build-for-rent developments.

Prior to joining MMM, Colby worked in the construction practice at a national law firm. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas, where he graduated summa cum laude, and his law degree from the University of Virginia, where he served as Senior Editor for the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology.
