As a Technical Advisor in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice, Alex Cueto’s primary focus is drafting patent language and intellectual property strategies for clients in medical devices, electronic systems, financial, and other industries. Alex works closely with the IP attorneys within the group preparing materials for use in connections with proceedings, technical matters, along with conducting patentability and freedom to operate analyses.
Prior to joining the firm, Alex received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. During his time at Georgia Tech, he was involved in the creation of a multi-input wireless headphone, designed an audio mixing circuit, and wrote extensive code to enable the communication between Bluetooth modules, microcontrollers, and button control systems. Alex also participated in a year-long research project studying machine learning and sparse coding for music genre classifications.
