As the administration’s tariffs on imported goods continue to evolve, Planert has observed a surge in inquiries from clients seeking guidance on compliance with federal trade laws and how to manage the complexities of new tariffs.
“It’s a lot of confusion and a lot of chaos,” Planert said, highlighting the difficulty importers face in adapting to the shifting regulatory environment.
Planert also explained the challenges surrounding the rollout of these tariffs, noting the confusion created by the flurry of executive orders and subsequent delays.
