Atlanta (October 20, 2015) – Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP has launched the MMM Angel Network – connecting angel and early-stage investors with emerging technology companies. As a leading law firm in the U.S. active in the entrepreneurial community, MMM works with startups and early-stage companies throughout their lifecycle. MMM has long played an integral role in supporting the growth and development of growing technology companies in Atlanta and across the country.
The mission of the MMM Angel Network is to help connect angel and early-stage investors with emerging technologies, innovative business models and deal flow by making introductions to startups and early-stage companies.
The MMM Network will provide its members with a platform to connect with investment professionals and investment opportunities; share ideas and best practices; learn from investment discussions; and explore successful approaches to product launches and raising capital. MMM attorney Christopher E. Maxwell will provide administrative direction for the group.
“This has been part of our business model from the beginning,” offered John C. Yates, Chair of MMM’s Technology Practice. “Introducing innovative companies to sources of capital and providing them with a path to success is smart business. We have just taken the step of formalizing our efforts.”
