Atlanta (January 14, 2022) - Heather Friedman, a partner in the Environmental Group at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, is the 2022 president of the Georgia Brownfields Association (GBA). GBA is entering its 12th year in its mission to ensure the state benefits from the continued clean-up of and reinvestment in environmentally impacted and underutilized real estate in Georgia, which in turn supports economic growth throughout the state.
The organization’s new leadership will be formally introduced at the GBA 2022 Kick-Off Event on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022 at 5 p.m. The program will feature a presentation from the Ga. Environmental Protection Division on its new Vapor Intrusion Guidance. Vapor intrusion is a key issue in the acquisition, disposition, management and redevelopment of properties with environmental conditions. More details and registration information about the event – which is both in-person and online – can be found here.
