Washington D.C. (July 23, 2019) - On behalf of a small business federal contractor, Morris, Manning & Martin’s, C. Kelly Kroll and Andrew J. Mohr successfully protested four awards by the U.S. Air Force (USAF). The USAF initially determined that MMM’s client was not highly rated enough to win one of the four Blanket Purchase Agreements being awarded to fulfill the USAF’s digital printing and imagining device needs. MMM protested USAF’s award decision arguing that its client’s proposal was unreasonably evaluated and that the USAF made an improper best-value tradeoff. USAF took corrective action in response to OMNI’s protest, and vacated all four awards. USAF is currently reviewing its requirements and a new procurement is anticipated to be forthcoming shortly.
