ATLANTA – December 19, 2023 – Morris, Manning & Martin advised Offbeat Media Group Inc. in its acquisition by Toronto-based digital network and production studio, Vertiqal Studios.
Offbeat Media specializes in creating content that resonates with younger generations, with some of their clients including McDonalds, Netflix and MTV. The acquisition adds 68 digital media channels to Vertiqal’s channel offering, making it one of the largest OTT networks in Canada. The network will total 134 channels, with 52 million followers residing in North America, the UK and Australia.
The Atlanta-based MMM team is led by Partners Chris Maxwell and Justin Ward.
