ATLANTA – November 1, 2023 — Morris, Manning & Martin advised Layr in securing a $10M strategic investment led by San Francisco-based venture capital firm Cota Capital with participation from The K Fund, HSCM Ventures, Sandbox Industries and Flyover Capital.
Layr is a leading insurance technology company that partners with independent commercial insurance brokerages to service small businesses. The Layr platform streamlines operations for brokerages by digitizing paper-based data such as manual invoices and checks. The platform also provides an online hub for account management, documents, policies, quotes, claims and electronic payments. The partnership with Cota Capital, which primarily invests in timeless technology companies, allows Layr to expand its market operations and strengthen its platform functionality for brokers.
