ATLANTA – September 20, 2023 — Morris, Manning & Martin advised Kayhan Space in securing a $7M strategic investment led by venture capital firms Space Capital and Eve Atlas.
The transaction will allow Kayhan Space to develop the industry's first space traffic coordination (STC) framework for commercial use of the Pathfinder 3.0 spaceflight safety program. Pathfinder 3.0 provides satellite operators the ability to effectively track, organize and mitigate risks to their fleet. In addition, Pathfinder 3.0 incorporates the first Space Safety Coalition (SSC) Best Practices for the Sustainability of Space Operations which includes rules of the road and other recommendations that operators can use during deployment of their satellite operations.
The partnership will also allow Kayhan Space to open an office in Washington, DC, and expand their team of employees to include executives and specialists in key roles ranging from business development to engineering and marketing.
