Atlanta (April 22, 2022) - Morris, Manning & Martin advised Energy Assurance (EA) in its acquisition by London-based Element Materials Technology. Based in Gainesville, Georgia with operations in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, EA provides performance testing services for battery and battery-powered products. Being part of Element is expected to drive growth in market shaping battery technologies and influence positive change in sustainable energy storage and delivery.
The Element Materials Technology Group is one of the world’s leading global providers of testing, inspection and certification services for a diverse range of products, materials and technologies in advanced industrial supply chains. EA complements its existing network of laboratories and gives it an opportunity to become a clear leader in the sustainable energy delivery market, while helping to reinforce its broader sustainability agenda. Element announced the deal April 12, 2022. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
