The 2024 Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) recently announced winners for its 2023 ALIS Awards. ALIS named the sale of The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida, as its 2023 Single Asset Transaction of the Year for transactions exceeding $25 million.
MMM attorneys Carol Weld King, Shanellah Verna Harris, and Jenny Jeong represented longtime client Brookfield Asset Management in the sale, which closed in February 2023. The landmark sale was the largest single asset hospitality transaction within the U.S. since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020.
