ATLANTA – October 2024 – Morris, Manning, and Martin advised client Atlanta Beltline Inc. in the acquisition of property at Bennett St. and Peachtree Rd. as part of its Northwest Trail expansion through Buckhead.
Atlanta Beltline kicked off planning for the second segment of Northwest Trail through their acquisition of the Buckhead property, the site of the former Elleven45 Lounge. The Atlanta Beltline aims to create safe, healthy, and connected neighborhoods across the Atlanta area. This new segment will be built outside the SCL railroad corridor, extending 4.3 miles from Blandtown to the Lindbergh/Morosgo neighborhoods, furthering efforts to expand Atlanta’s vibrant infrastructure. While the construction date for this segment has not yet been announced, the full Beltline trail loop is scheduled to be finished by 2030.
