Atlanta (June 2013) ─ The Real Estate Capital Markets Group at Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP has received yet another significant national honor. The Legal 500, which publishes guides reviewing the strengths and strategies of law firms in over 90 countries, recommends the firm in several areas, including Investment Fund Formation and Management - Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). The U.S. ranking also recommends attorneys Lauren Prevost and Heath Linsky for their efforts in the area.
The honor comes within weeks of the publication of the 2013 edition of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business, which also ranked the REIT group nationally. Chambers also ranked Prevost and Linsky among “Leaders in their Field” for the United States. MMM is one of only eleven firms to be ranked in the REIT category in both prestigious publications.
The Legal 500 ranking was good news for many of the firm’s other practices as well. The legal guide also recommended these groups and attorneys:
