Atlanta (October 25, 2021) – Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP has elected 10 attorneys to become partners at the firm effective Jan. 1, 2022. The large partnership class includes four associates who have spent their entire career in private practice at the firm, as well as several laterals who joined from other large law firms over the last five years.

The partners-elect are: Elliott Coward, Michael Henson, Patrick McKenzie, Shannon McNulty, Hallee Moore, Dan Noice, George Reinhardt, Nick Rueter, Alex Scharyj and Reed White. All are based in the firm’s Atlanta headquarters.
Coward, a member of the Healthcare Litigation group, represents hospital systems, physician practice groups and other healthcare providers. She offers legal advice and assistance on corporate transactions, litigation and regulatory and legislative issues, with a focus on proactive compliance and administrative litigation. She also serves as a mentor to younger associates and is heavily involved in pro bono efforts.
Henson works in the Tax and Real Estate practices. He focuses primarily on business transactions involving real estate, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic corporate matters, private equity investments and divestitures. He is actively involved in recruiting and mentoring programs and serves on the firm’s Associate Recruiting, Retention & Training Committee.
McKenzie, in the Corporate Technology practice, focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, venture capital financing, emerging companies, commercial finance and corporate governance. He also devotes much of his time to associate recruiting efforts for MMM.
McNulty, a member of the Corporate, Securities and Real Estate Capital Markets (REITs) practices, represents clients in structuring and consummating complex corporate transactions including public offerings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and reorganizations. Her clients include multi-billion-dollar REITs and real estate limited partnerships. She serves on the Recruiting, Retention & Training Committee and is actively involved in recruiting and diversity efforts. She also takes an active role in the firm’s mentoring program for lateral associates and the summer associate program.
Moore is in the Corporate Tech practice, where she focuses on mergers and acquisitions, finance transactions, private equity, venture capital, strategic investments and general corporate matters. Clients include huge hospitality companies, large software companies, and private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
Noice is a member of the Real Estate Development and Finance practice. He represents developers and investors in all phases of commercial transactions including development, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and related loan closings for retail, medical, multifamily, hotel, industrial and office properties. He is very involved in both lateral and entry-level recruiting efforts, and helps train younger associates through the firm’s mentoring program.
Reinhardt is in the firm’s Corporate Healthcare practice, where he provides legal advice to health systems, physician practices, and other healthcare-related entities on matters including corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory and legislative issues, patient privacy and contract negotiation. He serves a mentor and helps train younger associates within his practice.
Rueter is a member of the firm’s Corporate practice and chairs the International M&A practice. He represents domestic and international clients in corporate and transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital and private equity transactions, emerging company issues, fund formations, private placements and franchise law. In his time at MMM, he has taken on an active role in the firm’s recruiting efforts.
Scharyj, who works in the Corporate, M&A and Private Equity practices, handles complex business transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, recapitalizations and joint ventures. In addition to representing companies in public and private securities offerings, his focus includes negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts and advising on corporate governance.
White is the in Corporate Finance practice. He focuses primarily on debt finance transactions, including representing both private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies and non-sponsored borrowers in connection with negotiating, structuring and documenting secured and unsecured financing transactions for acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, refinancings, dividend recapitalizations and working capital facilities.
Coward, McKenzie and Moore came to MMM right after law school, with McNulty arriving after a judicial clerkship. Henson, Noice, Reinhardt, Rueter, Scharyj and White joined MMM after working at other large law firms.
