MMM Celebrates 15 Years of Venture Atlanta with Headline Sponsorship

Atlanta (June 8, 2022) - For the 15th consecutive year, Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP is proud to sponsor Venture Atlanta – the Southeast’s largest technology investor showcase. In addition to acting as the headlining sponsor, MMM partner Nick Foreste will serve as co-chair of the Recruiting and Screening Committee, which helps select the start-ups designated to pitch their companies to investors at the technology innovation event.

Over the last 15 years, Venture Atlanta has helped companies raise a total of $6.5 billion in funding and $16 billion in successful exits.

Venture Atlanta 2022 will be held October 19-20 at the Woodruff Arts Center. The event connects the region's most promising entrepreneurs and companies with top-tier investors, including local and national venture capitalists, bankers, angel investors and others who can help them raise the capital needed to grow their businesses. This year’s conference is expected to host over 1,200 entrepreneurs and leaders.

MMM is proud to represent dozens of technology companies who have benefitted from presenting at the conference, most recently including:

  • Artis Technologies raised $7 million in a Series A round, led by Saluda Grade Ventures
  • BetSperts raised $6 million in Series A funding, led by HBSE Ventures and Verance Capitial, with contributions by Velo Partners Parlay Capital as well
  • Gravy raised $4.5 million in Series A funding, led by Arlington Family Partners
  • Instant Financial has raised more than $15 million in funding, with contributions from InComm, TTV Capital, Kinetic Ventures, and others
  • Flatfile raised $35 million in Series A funding, led by Scale Venture Partners and Workday Ventures. Gradient Ventures, Two Sigma Ventures, and others also participated
  • Decisely received $3.5 million in funding. Investors include Strategic Investors and Sightway Capital.  
  • Xendoo raised $3.5 million in seed funding. Investors include Revolution (Rise of the Rest), DeepWork Capital, and Launch Syndicate
  • Ubuntoo received a $3.3 million seed round, funded by Volta Ventures and several others
