Atlanta (August 20, 2020) — The Best Lawyers in America© has selected Michele Madison, a partner in Morris, Manning & Martin’s Healthcare practice, as its 2021 Health Care Lawyer of the Year for Atlanta. In addition, Madison often facilitates and manages implementation of compliance plans for HIPAA privacy and security regulations, drafts and completes Certificate of Need applications and facilitates regulatory compliance. She also provides oversight and guidance regarding medical staff governance and credentialing issues.
Madison also works as a volunteer with Georgia’s healthcare system, advocating to keep local hospitals open in rural areas and encouraging people to pursue careers in healthcare information technology.
Madison has been listed by Best Lawyers in America as a top lawyer for Healthcare Law since 2013. She is a member of the Technology Association of Georgia, the American Health Lawyers Association, the Georgia Academy of Healthcare Attorneys, the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Health Information Management Services Systems.
