It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of one of our dear partners and friends, Lee Walker.
Lee joined MMM in 2010 and made an incredible mark on our real estate department and the firm over the next 13 years. A leader in the real estate industry, he represented developers, operators and investors in projects throughout the country, including the award-winning Sovereign Building and Tower Place in Atlanta, Georgia. During his career, Lee’s excellence in real estate law was recognized by many publications, including Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, The Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers.
More important than Lee’s many accolades and projects is the impact he made on those who were fortunate enough to call him a colleague and friend. He was caring, kind and gentle, and the life of every party he attended. He built strong teams at work by teaching and mentoring promising young attorneys, and he was the first to celebrate their successes as they moved to leadership roles.
