Atlanta (September 21, 2022) - Elliott Coward spoke to Law360 this week regarding a recent Certificate of Need (CON) win. Elliott, along with partner Bob Threlkeld, represented ARC of Georgia LLC, dba Premier Surgery Center, in a three-years-long appeal of the Department of Community Health order in which they verified that Premier was operating within its approved CON limits. The Georgia Supreme Court has denied petition for writ of certiorari and as a result, Premier Surgery Center will be allowed to “relocate as a 3 operating room surgery center pursuant to established agency rules.” Read the full story here.
