MMM is proud to announce the release of a new film entitled REFUGE – a story about fear and love in the American South. Dan Huynh, MMM Partner, serves as pro bono counsel for the film. Erin Bernhardt and Din Blankenship lead the film crew as directors and producers of the powerful documentary about how bonding with a community of Muslim refugees transformed a former Klan leader. The film is a moving examination of hatred, where it comes from, and how it can be healed, and it has won awards and honorable mentions at DOC NYC, the Cleveland International Film Festival, the Boulder International Film Festival, and the Sedona Film Festival.
