Gerald Pouncey, Chairman of Morris, Manning & Martin, was invited to speak at Auburn University’s three commencement ceremonies on Saturday, December 14, 2024. As an Auburn alumnus, Pouncey reflected on his time as a student and how his chemical engineering degree laid the foundation for his successful 40-year career in law. In his inspiring address, he encouraged graduates to embrace their experiences and adapt to change. Pouncey emphasized that his degree had equipped him with invaluable critical thinking skills and reminded the graduates that graduation marks the beginning of their education, inspiring them to continue learning every day.
