On April 14, Kelly Kroll and Michelle Litteken presented a webinar on the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification, or CMMC. Providing an overview of the DoD assessment and lessons learned, the team then unveiled CMMC 2.0, explained the major differences from CMMC 1.0 and the key features of the 2.0 model, and reviewed the mandatory DFARS 252.204-7012(c) cyber incident reporting requirement.
The final CMMC and DoD Assessment Rules are expected to be released in December of 2022.
