MMM is proud to co-host the 2008 China Summit for International Trade Standards, Environmental Protection, Packaging, Safety, Quality Inspection, Quarantine, Certification, Technical Barrier and Related Product Liability Issues Involved in Export Trade with The Ministry of Commerce, The People's Republic of China, on January 18-20 in Beijing, China.
The goal of this summit is to educate Chinese businesses on how to work within the American legal system to export products to the United States. The topics will cover specific strategies for managing and avoiding the costs and publicity from product recalls and liability for product defects. MMM will be the only American law firm participating in the event, and this summit promises to be the beginning of an event held annually.
Presenters from the firm will be Tim Xia, Jeff Schulte, Bob Alpert, and Seslee Mattson. Sonny Morris and Joe Manning will also be attending.
