High School Internship Program – Washington, DC Office

Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP (“MMM”) is seeking qualified applicants for its 2025 Diversity High School Internship Program in Washington, DC. MMM believes diversity is essential to delivering excellent legal services to our clients and community, and defines diversity broadly to include a wide variety of unique perspectives based on each applicant's background, experience, and personal story. Our program is a two-week, in-house internship designed to give high school students an introduction to the inner workings of a law firm and a professional office setting.

MMM's 2025 Diversity High School Internship Program in Washington, DC is open to applicants who are currently in the 10th or 11th grade and enrolled in District of Columbia Public Schools. Successful applicants will be highly motivated students with at least a B average and a genuine interest in learning about the practice of law. The program will begin on July 7, 2025, and end on July 18, 2025. Students selected to participate will be required to work in-person at our offices near Dupont Circle (Monday through Friday, 9:30am-3:30pm) and will participate in trainings and learning opportunities and complete a variety of projects and work assignments. Each participant will receive a wage of $538.50 per week, to be paid at the end of the internship period.

Please note that in addition to the online Application Form (to be completed by the student), there is a separate Teacher/Counselor Evaluation Form to be completed online by a teacher or school counselor, as well as a Conditions of Participation & Parental Consent Form, to be signed by both the student and parent/legal guardian. All three parts of the complete application package must be received by MMM no later than April 30, 2025. 

Applicants should be sure to read through the entire Application Form before completing it and follow all instructions carefully. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date cannot be accepted. Applicants who are selected for the interview stage will need to make themselves available for a 15-minute virtual interview during the period May 12-20, 2025.
