Tate Gray counsels and represents employers with respect to various matters, including hiring and separation concerns, restrictive covenants, internal investigations, policy and procedure reviews, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Tate also represents employers in lawsuits and administrative proceedings under Title VII, Section 1981, Section 1983, the FLSA, and other federal and state anti-discrimination and employment laws.
In addition, Tate provides legal counsel regarding labor and employment issues related to business openings and closings, mergers and acquisitions (buy- and sell-side), and other business transactions. He has experience negotiating and drafting employment-related contracts, including employment agreements, restrictive covenants agreements, and separation agreements.
